About Me.

I’m Ricky Salinas, born and raised in Houston, Texas, where my love for baseball began. I attended North Shore High School, a place that shaped not only my athletic journey but also my dedication to hard work and perseverance. My early years on the mound laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion for the game.

After high school, I continued my baseball journey at Rice University, where I pitched from 2015 to 2018. During my time with the Owls, I developed a strong foundation in discipline, hard work, and the technical aspects of pitching. In 2018, I was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and spent five seasons honing my skills in their system, including two years at the Double-A level.

While my professional career provided valuable experience, I’ve found my true passion in coaching. I focus on helping players refine their mechanics, increase velocity, and develop the mental toughness needed to thrive in baseball and beyond. Every session is tailored to meet each athlete’s specific needs, ensuring a personalized path to improvement.

My goal is simple: to share what I’ve learned over years of playing and training, giving the next generation of pitchers the tools to succeed. Whether you’re working toward a spot on your high school team or dreaming of the next level, I’m here to help you grow your skills and confidence, one pitch at a time.
